Near Death Experience

Praise God, Scott is alive! I say this because he got hit by a minivan while riding his bike the other day and actually lived to tell about it! He was riding down the sidewalk in our neighborhood when he came to an intersection. He stopped, looked and it was clear to go, so he went. Then all of a sudden a car, or minivan to be exact, came barreling down the street and pulled way out into the crosswalk. She was completely in the wrong! At the last second they saw each other and began to screech to a stop. Scott's back tire came up off the ground and she turned into him. He was up on his front wheel still moving forward when his tire hit the front of her minivan and he went sailing over the hood of her car onto the pavement!

A neighbor, who saw the whole thing, came running from across the street asking if she needed to call 911 and then suddenly a cop car pulled up, who just randomly happened to be patrolling the neighborhood. (He didn't see the accident but got there just after.) The cop got out and asked Scott if he was OK and he was just laying on the ground saying, "Give me a minute." Scott said he was mentally doing a body check to see if he was alright. He landed on his elbow and his right side and to my amazement, he was OK!

Scott told the cop he didn't want to press charges and he sent him away. The neighbor left and it was just him and the lady that hit him standing there. Scott could see that she was pretty freaked out, as she was shaking uncontrollably, so he asked if he could pray for her. He prayed that God would be able to calm her down and show her His love and peace.

I don't know if I know many people who would send the cops away and pray for the lady that just hit him! I love you baby and I praise God that you're alive!

The Family Unit
My husband, Scott, and I have been together for 24 incredibly wonderful years! We have two children; our oldest son Max (A.K.A. Boog, Boogie or his full name Maximus when he's in trouble) and our youngest son Titus (A.K.A. Ti, T, Bird, T-Bird, Birdie or some other variation of the sort). Life with these three is absolutely amazing, terribly funny, franticaly busy, positively crazy and without question, never boring! I'm truly a blessed woman!
